Quarantine Attire Review Time! Raise you’re hand if you’ve been personally victimized by booby holding contraption targeted ads? 🙋🏻♀️ Yup, they’re everywhere. Third Love. True and Co. What else? I’m sure there’s more but my brain is done thinking for the day. Anyhow, raise your hand again if while staying home, you too live in your yoga pants and sports bras or bralettes 🙋🏻♀️ Yup. Same.

I decided to cave and try the @trueandco sports bras because I saw some on super sale. I polled my friends on Facebook who were all supportive of the True & Co support. What’d I think? They’re sooooo soft and comfy. The material is heaven and my boobs feel supported yet not squished. They’re pull over style soft structure sports bras. Definitely not for heavy exercise, but wonderful for casual lounging around the house or maybe wearing to a yoga class. The bras I got weren’t “long line” bras but they fit like they were. They were about crop top length. They make special sizes to account for big ole titties like mine. And I enjoy the fact I can wear a size that fits my boobs well, while still being snug across the band (sometimes you have to choose, small band or big boobs). The material holds up well through washes and even through the accidental dry cycle my laundry-inept-husband put them through. They don’t bleed or pill in the wash either! The elasticity seems legit, but only time and use can tell how long it’ll give. I really like that there’s no pinching and that my boob weight is evenly dispersed across the shoulders. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Now for the cons. Mind you, I’m no svelte super model. I mean come on, look at me. I’m a regular mom bod with a penchant for eating lots brown sugar. Whatever. I love my body. It’s created 3 beautiful blessings. Anyhow, these bras are def not constant-cortisol-spike-stress-eating-muffin-top-mom friendly because the minute you start shifting around in it, the bottom does roll up. It’s not a lot because it obviously stops at what would be the regular bra line, but that can be a showstopper for some people so I’m definitely mentioning it. The material is thin so the roll isn’t a huge hinderance for me, but it doesn’t really stay down If you have a bit of a tummy or back rolls. The other con was the shipping timeframe and customer service responsiveness. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt given current circumstances, but I was still annoyed at the very sparse communication regarding my order. I ordered 3 bras but was only sent 2. I didn’t get notice that the third one wasn’t being shipped until nearly a month had passed from my order. They were constantly advertising and posting on social media, yet were clearly behind with orders and in answering customer service requests. I remember seeing several complaints for lack of communication, or really slow communication from other customers too. Yes, times are hard right now, but even a notice on their website, or a post on their social media acknowledging that they were swamped would have been helpful. I waited nearly a month to have them ship! They were very kind when they did respond and there was no issue big enough for me to say don’t buy from them, but again, for your sanity’s sake, don’t expect a quick shipment. They for sure test your patience. At least right now they do.
I’ve had them for a few weeks now, and I can attest that their comfort really is worth it, even despite the cons. I love wearing mine and wish I had a few more. I don’t know that I’d pay full price for them, but sign me up for the colors and styles that are on sale! 😂🙌🏽
I’d love to hear from you now! What’s your favorite sports bras or bralettes to live in?
They all looked good on you especially that bright red. Sad to hear that their customer service hasn’t been fab Kat.
